The Barsotti’s Story

Barsotti’s, Formerly Carbone's, a Michelin Recommended establishment, is a neighborhood Italian-American restaurant located in the Big D, Texas.  We are both old and new, Established and Evolved. Our food and our story derive from Italian Immigrants who came from Southern Italy to pursue the American Dream. The Southern Italians adapted their culture, and their cuisine to their new Homeland. Italian Americans transformed their traditional dish's to reflect their newfound access to the abundance of the New World.  The most legendary example is Polpettone.  In Italia it was made out of necessity, to extend precious and expensive meat.  And never served with pasta.  In the new environs of the Northeast United States, Italian-Americans created Spaghetti and Meatballs.  Probably the most recognizable Italian dish in the World.  We serve delicious and personal versions of Italian American classics. Inspired, to do justice to our Paesan who paved the Red Sauce trail from Naples & Sicily to New York & New Orleans.  From NYC and Nola to Texas.

At Barsotti’s expect a vibrant and familial atmosphere.  The alchemy and perfume of tomatoes, garlic, basil and oregano.  Honest, authentic, delicious Italian-American comfort food.  We aspire to make our specific ancestors, the Carbone’s and Barsotti’s proud. And we have respect and gratitude to be a miniscule part of ALL the food traditions translated to the New World.  Made in America. Made in Texas. Cent'Anni !!

Rich Text Element

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
